1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Combat Studio at combatstudio.lk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users including studio owners, administrators, and staff members who access the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Combat Studio service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Description of Service

Combat Studio is a cloud-hosted martial arts studio management platform providing tools for member management, fee tracking, attendance recording, and reporting. The service is provided on a monthly subscription basis across three plan tiers: Starter, Standard, and Pro.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for providing accurate account information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must notify us immediately at hello@combatstudio.lk of any unauthorised access to your account
You may not share login credentials with individuals outside your studio

5. Subscription and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
A 14-day free trial is provided — no payment is taken during this period
Prices are listed in USD as displayed on combatstudio.lk at the time of subscription
Combat Studio reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to the management of your martial arts studio. You must not:

Use the Service to store or process data in violation of applicable privacy laws
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to Combat Studio's systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the software
Use the Service to transmit malicious code, spam, or abusive content
Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written agreement (except under the Pro reseller plan)

7. Data Ownership

You own the data you enter into Combat Studio about your studio and members. We process your data only to provide the Service. You can export your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the Combat Studio platform. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure, third-party infrastructure failures, etc.).

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, code, design, branding, logos, and materials comprising Combat Studio and combatstudio.lk are the intellectual property of Combat Studio and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. See our Terms & Conditions for full intellectual property terms.

10. Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation
Data after termination: You have 30 days from account closure to export your data. After 30 days, data is deleted

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Combat Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at combatstudio.lk/terms-of-service with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
